Life at The Cock & Rabbit
There's usually something going on at The Cock & Rabbit. As the last remaining pub in The Lee, we've become the place where the village gets together—whether that's for a quiz, a celebration, live music or simply a catch-up over a pint.
From the annual Church Fête on the green outside our front door to Christmas celebrations, charity events and everything in between, we like to think there's always a good excuse to come to the pub.
Monthly Quiz Night
Held on the first Tuesday of every month, our quiz has become something of a local institution. It's friendly, competitive (sometimes very competitive!) and always good fun. Gather a team, bring your thinking caps and don't forget to book a table.
Murder Mystery Evenings
One of our favourite nights of the year. A great evening of food, mystery and plenty of laughter. Whether you solve the crime or not, you'll almost certainly leave with a story to tell.
Live Music
From local musicians to touring bands, we host live music throughout the year. Add a lively crowd, something good to eat and your favourite drink, and you've got all the ingredients for a cracking evening.
Wine Tasting
Our wine tasting evenings are relaxed, informal and open to everyone—whether you know your Bordeaux from your Burgundy or simply enjoy a good glass of wine.
Seasonal Celebrations
We never need much of an excuse for a celebration. Halloween, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter and Christmas are all marked in true Cock & Rabbit style, and Santa's annual visit has become something of a tradition for many local families.
So whether you're joining us for a quiz, a band, a seasonal event or simply a quiet pint by the fire, we'd love to see you.

The Cock & Rabbit is a place where people have been coming together for generations, and we're always delighted to play a small part in life's big occasions. We also understand that not every gathering is a celebration. If you're arranging a wake, we'll make sure everything is looked after with the care, warmth and respect it deserves.
Our restaurant, bars, covered terrace and gardens can all be used for private events, whether you're planning an intimate dinner or a larger gathering. During the summer months, our outdoor kitchen and barbecue are perfect for relaxed garden parties and celebrations.
