Our front bar is everything you'd expect from a proper English country pub. An open fire, a good pint, friendly faces and the sort of atmosphere that makes you think, "I'll just have one more."

Head through to the back and you'll find something a little different. A cosy snug with bar stools, a deep sofa and a double-sided log burner opens into a larger, more relaxed space overlooking the garden. Whether you're here for a quiet drink, a leisurely lunch or an evening with friends, you'll soon find your favourite corner.

Behind the bar you'll find a great selection of cask ales, local beers, carefully chosen wines and premium spirits, alongside a seasonal cocktail list. Whether you're after a perfectly poured pint, a good bottle of wine or a cocktail mixed to order, our team will happily point you in the right direction.

We're also rather partial to a bit of sport—rugby especially. Throughout the year we show the big fixtures, including the Six Nations and Autumn Internationals, so if there's a match worth watching, chances are it'll be on. Add a good pint, a lively crowd and a bit of friendly banter, and you've got all the ingredients for a great afternoon.
